Genug und praktische Kenntnisse über die Probleme der Wiederkäuer, Fütterung, kritischen Zeiten, Nährstoffbedarf, Vorbereitung von Diäten für Zootechnicians, Tierärzte, Techniker und Landwirte, für die Wirtschaftlichkeit auf qualitativ hochwertige tierische Erzeugung beitragen. Grundlegender theoretischer und praktischer Informationen, der übertragene Anwendung auf die Fütterung von Wiederkäuern werden können ist versucht in dieser Quelle zusammengefasst werden.
