Descriptions : Turkish Bu çalışmada, sıcak ve kuru iklim koşullarında yetiştirilen Kilis keçilerinin bu koşullardaki adaptasyon mekanizmalarının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, Gaziantep ilinde çiftçi elinde yetiştirilen yerli Kilis keçileri üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada materyalin stres ve optimum koşullardaki anatomik ve morfolojik adaptasyon mekanizmaları, optimal ve sıcak çevre koşullarındaki fizyolojik adaptasyon mekanizmaları ve laktasyon performansları üzerinde durulmuştur. Deneme sonunda, yükselen atmosfer sıcaklığını hayvanlarda stres oluşturduğu ancak bunun performansa yansımadığı dikkati çekmektedir. Kilis keçilerinin termal stresi azaltan bazı mekanizmalara sahip oldukları, oğlaklama ve süt verimi gibi özelliklerinin sıcaklık stresinden etkilenmediği belirlenmiştir. Buna bağlı olarak bu keçi ırkının sıcak ve kurak koşullar için önerilebileceği ortaya çıkmıştır.
English In this study, it’s been aimed to determine the adaptation mechanisms of Kilis goat genotypes under hot and dry climate conditions. Study has been conducted on the native Kilis goats raised at the private Farm at Gaziantep district. During this study, anatomical adaptation mechanisms, morphological adaptation mechanisms, physiological adaptation mechanisms under optimum and hot climate conditions, lactation performances of Kilis goats have been examined. At the end of the study, it’s been determined that, increasing environmental temperature creates a thermal stress. However, it’s also been observed that, thermal stress has not been reflected in the performance of goats. Kilis goats have some adventagous traits to alleviate heat stres effect and they can maintain their performances such as lactation and kidding in such conditions. Thus, they can recomended as main goat types for hot and dry climate.
German In dieser Studie richtet sich wurden die Mechanismen der Anpassung von Kilis Ziege Genotypen unter heißen und trockenen klimatischen Bedingungen zu bestimmen. Studie wurde auf die nativen Kilis-Ziegen, die in der privaten Farm in Gaziantep, Landkreis durchgeführt. Während dieser Studie, anatomische Anpassung Mechanismen, morphologische Anpassung Mechanismen, physiologische Anpassung Mechanismen unter optimalen und warme Klimabedingungen sind Laktation Aufführungen von Kilis Ziegen untersucht worden. Am Ende der Studie wird festgestellt, dass die Umgebungstemperatur eine thermische Belastung schafft. Jedoch hat es auch, die beobachtet wurden, thermische Belastung hat die Leistung von Ziegen nicht wider. Kilis Ziegen haben ein paar Adventagous Züge, Hitze Stres Effekt zu lindern, und sie können ihre Performances wie Laktation und Scherz unter solchen Bedingungen beibehalten. Daher können sie als wichtigste Ziege-Typen für heiße und trockene Klima empfehlen.
