| Descriptions : | Hünnap meyvelerinin yakın plan görünümü. Hünnap (Zizyphus ssp.), Rhamnaceae (cehrigiller) familyasından bahar aylarında hoş kokulu sarı renkli çiçekler açan dikenli bir ağaç türü olup Türkiye'de çiğde veya ünnap olarak da bilinmektedir. Meyveleri sert çekirdekli, iri zeytin biçimindedir. Sarımsı, kızılımsı kahverengidir. Meyveler önceleri yeşilolup olgunlaştıkça kırmızıya ve siyah-mora dönmeye başlar. En dış çeperi derimsi ve ince, et kısmı sarı renkli ve çok hafif ekşimsi tatlıbir bir meyvedir. Doğal çeşitleri yanında kültüre alınan ve yetiştiriciliği yapılan çeşitleri de bulunmaktadır. Kuzey Afrika ve Suriye'den Hindistan ve Çin'e yayıldığı düşünülmektedir. Ağaç birçok iklime uyumlu olmasına karşın sıcak yazlı iklimleri sever. Ancak Doğu Karadeniz ve özellikle Çoruh Vadisi'nde değişik türleri de bulunmaktadır.

Jujube (Zizyphus spp.) is a thorny tree species from Rhamnaceae (cehrigiller) family that blooms fragrant yellow flowers in the spring and it is also known as “çide” or “ünnap” in Turkey. The plant has large olive shape fruits having hard seed. The color is yellowish, reddish brown. Fruits are green initially but the color turns to red and black-purple while they are ripening. The outermost wall of the fruit is skinny and thin, inner part is light yellow in color and the flesh is sweet-sour. Besides the natural varieties cultured varieties are also available. It is thought to be spread to India and China from North Africa and Syria. Despite the tree is compatible with many climates, it mostly likes climates with hot summer. There are various species in Eastern Black Sea, and in particular Çoruh Valley.

Chinesische Jujube (Zizyphus spp.) ist eine heikle Baumarten aus Kreuzdorngewächse (Rhamnaceae) (Cehrigiller)-Familie, die duftende gelbe Blüten im Frühling blüht und es ist auch bekannt als "Çide" oder "Ünnap" in der Türkei. Die Anlage hat große Olive Form Früchte mit hartem Samen. Die Farbe ist gelblich, rotbraun. Früchte sind zunächst grün, aber die Farbe erweist sich, rot und schwarz-lila während sie Reifung sind. Die äußerste Wand der Frucht ist dünn und dünner, inneren Teil hell gelb in Farbe und das Fleisch ist süß-sauren. Neben der natürlichen Sorten sind auch kultivierte Sorten erhältlich. Es wird gedacht, nach Indien und China aus Nordafrika und Syrien zu verbreiten. Trotz der Baum ist kompatibel mit vielen Klimazonen, mag es meistens Klimas mit heißen Sommer. Es gibt verschiedene Arten im östlichen Schwarzen Meer und im besonderen Çoruh-Tal.
