Title of object
Investigation of The Adsorption of Some Veterinary and Human Pharmaceuticals by Live Activated Sludge
Object description
Adsorption is the important part of abiotic removal for many chemicals during the biological treatment. In this study, the adsorption properties of the activated sludge (0.5 g and 1.0 g) on pharmaceuticals that are ranitidine, acetyl salicylic acid (ASA), erythromycin, ivermectin, gentamicin sulfate and metamizol sodium have been investigated. The results of the equilibrium experiments have been applied Langmuir, Freundlich and Tempkin models and data fitted better to Freundlich isotherm model c...
