In this study, the effects of nitrogen limitation on the growth rates, lipid and chlorophyll a contents of the species of Isochrysis affinis galbana (Prymnesiophyceae), Phaeodactylum tricornutum (Bacillariophyceae) and Porphyridium cruentum (Rhodellophyceae ) were examined.
