An ancient fountain system that has been used in Kanesh ancient city (Kultepe). explored during excavations administrated by Prof. Tahsin Özgüç in Kültepe, Kayseri, Turkey. Kultepe, known in ancient times as Kanesh - Karum, was one of the earliest Hittite commercial cities. Dating from 2000 BC, Kultepe was also one of the world's first cities in where free trade made.
