Object description

Palm trees (Phoenix dactylifera) from Arecaceae family is a plant grown for their fruits for many years. It is reported that the plant is native to North Africa or Southwest Asia. Their height usually is around 15-25 m and they have one or more trunks developing from the same root system. The leaves reach 3-5 m long and have around 150 leaflets. The diameter of the crown of the plant is around 6-10 m.
